So, Ceredwyn. Formerly known as "Silverblue". Formerly formerly known as - and you wouldn't believe it - "Ceredwyn Ealanta". So far as I know, she took 'exit stage left' from the furry world quite some time ago, diving instead head-first into steampunk. In retrospect, e-male "steampunked@" should've been a dead giveaway. Came back to the wretched hive of scum and villainy for a brief visit a tad later; then, about 2009 or some such, (another) leak of FA password database suddenly yet inevitably happened, and that was the last time she was publicly seen around thouse parts. "The password for this account has been reset" and so on. Still somewhat-maybe-kinda-sorta alive on DA, though.
But let's give a word to her: Silverblue is a furry artist based in Melbourne, Australia who favours dark and gothic themes in her work. Also known as Ceredwyn Ealanta, she infrequently posts to the VCL archive, and occasionally attends MiDFur, an Australian furry gathering. She is best known for her webcomic, Lacunae. Silverblue is also the name of a character from the Lacunae comic, being a haemophage rabbit. For the rest of the universe, it isn't quite just a wanky word for 'vampire', but yes - *shame* - it's close.
Which slightly contradicts with more succinct and contemporary: An old digital 'artist' who is just trying to get back into work after a few years away due to a number of personal issues. I was once known as Silverblue, but most people these days call me by my real name, Ceredwyn.
Not that really important in the end, though.
The comic itself was posted regularly around 2002-2006 on ComicGenesis and a dedicated mothership Gothbunny, long since sunk in the treacherous waters of /dev/null. Comic stopped updating some time before that, quite unfortunately, as the story remains not just unfinished, but largely untold. A pity, truly - I liked the style and that particular take on a bleak dystopian future a-la Shadowrun (which, with each passing day, seems more and more utopian, but I digress). Unfortunately, I was a bit tardy and careless in preservation efforts. Fortunately, most of her art was duplicated in VCL (requiescat in pace, prince - in sooth, Lethe took you before Thanatos could) and FA (still alive, somehow) galleries. Collected FA+VCL gallery is here.
But enough talk. Have at you.
=====CONTENT=====
This gallery contains what I managed to drag out before the site went down: the webcomic 'Lacunae, the Book of Missing Spaces', and scant artpieces posted on mothership/ComicGenesis as extras.
File names are (largely) unchanged, if you want to restore original order of posting - just drop all [year/month/day].jpg files in one folder.
Torrent contains all that, plus few partial (and lazy) mock-ups slash dumps of sites in question with a bit of background data on the world and characters wherein.
