When I read this untranslated I didn't realize the combat unit was such an asshole before getting transferred and the guys were just evil bastards, turning the robot that just saved their lives into a fucktoy without a care. Context makes a big difference.
It feels like Fan No Hitori's just scratching the surface of what you could do with cyborg/robot stuff. What's here is good, but he could go so much further. With all that "My brain's melting, it's so hot!" stuff towards the end I'm surprised that didn't literally happen with one of the copies.

The Sci-Fi setting and concepts here are really entertaining and interesting hahaha. What a way to spice up porn. Now I'm curious about the setting too. It would be interesting to see more works using the ideas here! I liked the rebels throwing shade at the government forces at the end. In cold pragmatic terms the combat cyborg probably should have wiped everyone out and moved on, but to be fair this kind of self destructive betrayal situation would be hard to imagine for a brain in a jar cyborg from birth.
