And as always, those stupid fuckers from Translators Unite screwed up the image quality. They downgraded the images to jpeg 80 quality and then bloated them to jpeg 100 file size while retaining the low quality of jpeg 80.

If this is a consistent issue from translator's unite then it might just be something to do with having to use DLSite's in house editor thing for their translations. I remember a translator saying it sucked ass to use (scroll down to bangarang's comment in here: /g/2335140/d871df4832/).
