This was an early work (not good).

Story:
Yennefer got herself nearly captured by the WIld hunt. In a desperate move to escape she miscast a magic portal and was thrown into an unknown arid place.
Yes, she was safe for the moment. But now our succulent sorceress will learn that there are worse fates than falling into the hands of the Wild Hunt. And she will learn it the hard way. Brace yourself!
