Lady Tsunade and Lord Orochimaru have a long history, having trained together with the Toad Sage Jiraiya and risen to fame as the Sannin—three powerful ninja hailed as the greatest of their time. But somewhere along the way, their paths diverted, and while Tsunade had effectively retired, Orochimaru began to carve himself a new path with dark intentions. Now their paths have converged again, and things are about to get messy.

"Loss after loss drove Tsunade away from the life of a shinobi, only for it to find her again when Konoha finds itself in need of a new leader. Although reluctant at first, she comes to realize the importance of the role she must play. But no sooner than she accepts the mantle of Fifth Hokage does Orochimaru attempt to rip it away. He'll do anything to accomplish his quest for vengeance and immortality, even if it means devouring a fellow Sannin."
