Its been bugging me for a long time. Why most horror game that involve monster chase and kill, grab and lock, dismemberment, try to "do funny" things to host etc.

Main protagonist will be mostly male (You know what I mean). Example is Dead Space. Why can't we have a female version? (well you know lol).

To avoid sexual content like this? I don't buy "because the female protagonist is boring" bullshit. There many game that have amazing female character such as Cyberpunk 2077 female V version is better than male V version (you are free to prove me wrong).
