So, for context. A recent comic run for Spidey has the author (Paul whateverthefuckhisnameis) self-insert himself as a homewrecker who cucks Peter. The entire rest of the storyline is character assassination of Peter and Mary Jane to justify Paul's actions. Including turning Peter into an abuser incel.

This was better than what they currently did to Spiderman's storylines involving his romance in both Earths 616 and 1616. Okay, I'll admit I liked Peter's relationships with Gwen Stacy, Felisha Hardy, and Mary Jane Watson which showed that even with all those powers he was human and made mistakes when I was young but as I got older things that occurred in Marvel's Civil War (Iron Man vs Capt. America), Kingpin's assassination attempt that killed Aunt May, and Mephisto deal as a way to spice things up...

However, that incident involving a terrible attempt at a self-insert fantasy/NTR storyline was just a lazy woke attempt to cancel one of Marvel's greatest works.
(Yeah, I'm talking about that (Add insult Here) who took over the Spiderman book and just wrote himself into the storyline.)

Still, on a better note, something tells me that Jenn and Peter would work.

About the comic: It's Fred Perry the art is him, the story is light. Nothing wrong there.

About Spider-Man: Nobody can agree about what is the selling point of SM so everybody gets mad when a story focuses on one thing instead of the thing(s) they like.
The Marvel company has tried to kill/replace/remake SM since the late 90's and it has not worked once for more than a few months of shock value. Peter Parker
is Spider-Man and it is a shame that Marvel would now rather tear the character to pieces than enjoy what/who he is.
Oh well at least the fans never forget or let go of their friendly neighbor.

P.S. It is funny how Spider-Man can be place with just about any girl in Marvel and it works. Still a fan of the Spider-Man Silver Sable pairing; even though SM finding a home with the F4 is

the thing is, legally they cannot kill off Peter Parker as Spider-Man. Stan Lee's dying wish, and I shit you not, was that Spider-Man would always be a nerdy white teen from Queens New York named Peter Parker.

legally Marvel cannot change that due to Stan Lee's family owning the rights to Spidey and many other marvel heroes. they cannot make any changes to the base marvel lineup without the green light from the Lee Family.

now, do not get me wrong. Stan actually loved Miles Morales, and green lit his character from the get go. but he will never be the Main Spider-Man. that will always be Peter. and as long as Stan's family retain the rights to the character? they will never violate Stan's Dying wish.

Peter Parker is, was, and shall remain till the end of Marvel, Spider-Man.

I hope you don't mind me mentioning another story with Spidey & Shulkie by another author on another platform? "SPIDERMAN LOVES JENNY W" by Snorpenbass over on fanfiction dot net. The reason I bring it up because I get so few Peter/Jenny tales & Fred P. always delivers on a GREAT story concept. I'd LOVE to see this magnificent Marvel pairing expanded upon.
