It may be official, but it's definitely machine translated. A common issue with machine translation from Japanese to English is near random selection of gender pronouns. All of those singular "he" is very indicative.
@jcochran I also noticed that when trying to read some web novels with a translator. I mean, it makes sense because the original doesn't have it, and in general, Japanese is a language that omits many things and like many languages has many idioms that often are translated verbatim "are you licking it?". I would have thought that the recent advances in large language models would solve these issues because they could, in theory, keep track of characters and their gender, but as hyped as they are, they don't seem to work much better for translations. Instead, they even add new dangers like completely omitting words, and even omitting names.
