The self-insert of one of the comic supporters and his in-universe family.

I never really liked his (and by proxy his family's) inclusion in this comic series. They were introduced really late and I don't believe any of them ever interacted with the main cast directly. Usually his character in Matemi's works is fine since he's just another character that talks and does stuff with the rest, but here he's so detached from the rest of the characters that he and his family grind the plot and porn to a screeching halt anytime the comic cuts to them.

I think Matemi, or whoever is writing this, is not suited to writing overarching narratives that actually matter. When it's just sex comedy, Silver Soul is fantastic. The problem is that they're trying to do something deeper and more meaningful, but they're bad at that.

Nah @FarkyMac it isn't the artist Matemi but Silver the writer people should be directing their displeasure at. Matemi just draws what Silver and the rest of his writing team tell her to. This entire comic is a very long commission where Silver pays Matemi and now some other artists to do this for them. The art and story are totally disconnected besides Silver telling Matemi what needs drawn for the story.

If you'd like something constructive, I suppose I could give my (biased) take on things.

I happen to find Azzilan really hot, and honestly, I can never get enough of him fucking the rest of the crew. While, granted, there's no shortage of that throughout this comic, supplemental material, and other comics, it never felt like it hit all the right buttons at any point. Over time, he stopped fucking Silver, stopped fucking Meagan and Sergen after he found out about their mother (though with how incestual they already were to each other and how Azzilan was clearly still attracted to at least Meagan, I'm surprised they never cashed in on the kink), hell, he hasn't fucked his girlfriend since several chapters back. We never even got to see him and Azula bang on-screen. I was so sure that that would at least happen at some point, even in just a bonus comic, and now it looks like we'll never get it.

This ties more into the general criticism I have with this comic: a great deal of setup with frustratingly anemic, lackluster, or even non-existent payoff of quite a few character dynamics. Likely because the comic haphazardly shifted towards a grander plot, adding and focusing on increasingly irrelevant characters when it never got around to fully fleshing out the ones it already had. Not to mention how the sex became a secondary aspect; what was once the main appealing factor to, well, a porn comic, brushed (and now rushed) to the wayside in lieu of an attempt to become more weighted with legendary battles, crime syndicates, and cataclysmic threats.

This final sequence is just salt in the wound, the epitome of poorly addressing the generally less engaging parts of these characters while completely forgetting about why they were fun to watch and follow along in the first place. To be clear, it's not a bad thing to flesh out your cast, even in a porn comic, in fact the wholesome moments can add emotional depth and sexiness through their contrasts to the racy parts, making them even better. This comic just swung too hard and too poorly in one way while largely blinding itself to the other.
