You don't have to if you include the chatacter sprites as well... if they're full body. That alone makes your gallery different and not subject to be "already uploaded".

the sprites are without faces. so i decided to not contain them in the gallery.

It's not uncommon to see galleries in which body and face sprites are separated. So don't hesitate to upload them as that still makes your gallery different.
