in case you or anyone else still wants to know, JL left around the time Patreon first started cracking down on smut/anime. his patreon was fucked up and while people were still subsrcibed he wasnt getting the money (i beleive) and he just didnt want to waste time hopping from platform to platform (probably forseeing what was to come) and simply dropped art all together and persued the career he went to college for. i say dropped art but he likely just dropped anything that would connect to his JL persona
