pronoun is a very big problem when you do MTL from japanese into other languages for now. MTL is a good assistant when you can read in japanese but If you don't know any japanese and you do want to know exactly what the plot is then I highly recommend you learn something simple at least or just don't try it, instead gou can read the pics directly.

Is the stuff that was never translated before translated roughly? Yes. Can you understand it? Yes. The last part sat untranslated for years. OP did an okay job. GIMP OP is free. Not as good as photoshop but it is free to use. There are some free online editors as well. Give BeFunky a try. I mostly use them for Thumbnails, but some of their AI tools might be useful.
