Oh wow. A rare case where the characters are role playing this sort of thing instead of it being a real case of kidnapping! There's something so incredibly sweet about narratives where two lovers are taking on roles for each other's sexual satisfaction. I wish I saw it more often.

This doujin made me realize that I've never read "with a little something something" before and I can't stop thinking and laughing about it now. It really caught me outta left field and made me ponder... Doesn't it feel weird to say the full "something" twice in a row? Like, I don't think I've ever said this phrase in real life, and I have no idea where I've _ever_ even heard it... but it doesn't feel right in my head unless you really shorten the "somethings" and have them roll off the tongue... Like, you basically skip the 'th' sound entirely, and cut short the 'ing' at the end... making it... "a lil' sum'm sum'm"...? Damn, I really can't decide how I'd even type it. I can't stop thinking about this LOL I should probably just press Post Comment and go do something else.

I actually had to ponder over this part quite a bit while translating, too. The original text is 一点东西 with pauses in between each word (I believe the artist knows both chinese and japanese and so chinese is technically one of the source languages). This, in Chinese, directly translates to "A little bit of something", and so I could have chosen to just say "I added something to your tea" or "I spiked your tea with some drugs". However, tone here needs to be playful with emphasis on the "something", so I took a mostly esoteric phrase and inserted it here to try my best to match the tone while also keeping the translation as literal as possible. I also tend to write much more formally than I speak, and so in my head I actually treat it exactly as you describe: "a lil' sum'm sum'm" lol
