If your goal in a fight us to subdue your opponent, then you win whenever they are subdued. It doesn't matter if they pass out, back down, DIE, etc., it all matters if you met your goal. There's a good example of it on Xaiolin Showdown back when I was a kid. The opponent's goal doesn't always match with yours, but you reaching yours may not have one explicit definition.

In this case, "beat him up" in their minds would translate to winning by KO., and in effect, render unconscious. In the case now, fucking him senseless until he isn't awake meets that goal. The "cater to my whims" would be "he is submissive to me", both of which have the goal of getting him to do what you want.

So following this logic, it's *technically* meeting the same goals, therefore in its own twisted way, correct?

If you use hard definitions and take it more literally though, and are more strict with meanings, then this is 100% cope.
