It may have the same vibe, but not really. This episode is narrated from FMC's perspective. FMC is MC's tomboyish childhood friend by the name of Mei, but he's forgotten her since she'd changed so much. And she feels a little bittersweet by that. On the last page, it seems she's going to disclose her identity, so maybe the next one will be the last. (Unless the author has another plan for us.)
