You can be pro-AI translation without being a dick to the people who up until recently you relied on almost entirely to read this stuff in English, you know.

There's a place for stuff like cotrans, there's more books out there than all the translators will ever catch up to. Something like this is probably fine, it was unlikely to ever get translated and the poor translation and garbage tier "editing" hardly hurts it at all. But you probably still want some things translated by competent humans, and when AI does catch up to all but the very best translators it will have done so on the shoulders of all the people that have put in that free time over years and years.

But by all means, mock the people that used their free time to make your hobby possible.
