Axa was originally published in English in strips by the newspaper "The Sun" between 1978 and 1985. This book is part of a collection of 9 volumes bringing together these strips. It is not, therefore, a translation; It was from this version that the translations into Spanish, French, Polish, etc. were made.

The story "The Betrayed" is unfinished, as the strip was canceled by "The Sun" without prior notice to the author.
