"Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon" is a work that I participated in as a key animator for about a year and a half from the middle of the original to the middle of R, but it is one of the most memorable works in my life. The reason is that this work marked the end of my 14-year career as an animator. In my late teens, I simply wanted to be an animator, and I finally became one after dreaming of it. Even though I was allowed to serve as animation director on several works, I retired from active duty in my mid-30s. After that, for over a decade, I devoted myself to educating students who wanted to become animators as a staff instructor at several vocational schools.
However, the thread of fate drew me back to the field in 2010. Currently, as the representative of Pioneer Productions, I am enjoying my life as an animator as a key animator and animation director on the front lines with young staff members. At the same time, I am also a lecturer at amps (Anime Manga Pioneer School), which I started with friends from my vocational school days. I don't have time to rest between making anime and teaching, but I feel like this is my life's work, and I am truly grateful to be in this position. I have created a groundbreaking essay and art book using nostalgic Sailor Moon characters. I drew (and wrote) it with all my heart, so I hope you enjoy it.
