A ninja who succumbs to the enemy's power, as opposed to one who gets the job done, is a failure of a ninja. The lot of ninjas would've had their selves ended for their failures. But Miyuki Yukikaze is one of those who had gotten off lightly. As the guy who had a crush on her, Tatsurou Akiyama, lives on to become one of the "master ninjas;" she will spend the rest of her days knowing that she failed her mother as well as herself.
