The blue thing is likely some kind of mushroom. You can make out the shaft and gills on the underside of the cap. Since there's a bug dude, walking mushrooms wouldn't be too far of a leap.

PS: I just noticed this but it seems like Theressa didn't undertake/commit to Drule pregnancy. Understandable considering how dangerous and actually damaging those pests are.
Another thing I noticed is that it seems like Theressa is the lady groping the porcine's balls on the first page. But its not really clear if she's the one who is being bred by the porcine on the second page, since the third page shows another woman with a dark hair who got bred proper by the male porc.
Its unclear if we'll get a normal male human breeding a female porc. I also hope Jaynaylor doesn't skimp out on Theressa carrying a porcine's child since we did see her getting pregnant from one, ending up with her carrying a full child in her belly on the last iteration of this comic. But I have hope Jay will deliver.

So, looks like that mysterious race in the first page turned out to be a Mimic, for a while I thought it was going to be a Cresthlid that Jay wrote about a while back in the “Cottonwine Report” Story, that is neat.

What is also neat is that there is a theory that all races May have been split from an original beast race. Quite a bit of creation style lore there. I do hope Jay would continue this Verse in the future!

Because Caimian is one letter more than caiman, a subspecies of alligator. And it follows the naming schemes. Skrat = rat. Wolven = Wolf. Equian = Equine(Horse). Orcine = Porcine(pig). I feel like a lot of these names are meant to be really on the nose.

And since the totally-not-skaven are based around the Caimian tribes, I feel like this is Jay leaning into the totally-not-Lizardmen who keep the rat populations in check.
