The dark skinned bunny girls are really sexy. I don't get why ai art gets so much hate tbh. Like yea it could be better and cheaper but stepping stones and it's getting there.

The problem is, it will never get there.
AI art lacks of consistency
Sometimes it has ugly mixture of different renders.
Sometimes it has grotesque proportions.
It can't fix some small ugly detail.
It can't repeat same character 1 in 1 when needed.
And at the same time it draws same 'uncanny valley' style robot doll faces on different arts when you actually need something different.

When you see beautiful picture, you want more of exact same product. So you google the artist who has drawn this picture.
And now you have access to variety of pictures of simiar style, render, ideas, forms etc etc. And you can expect you can get more of it later.

But you can't get that from AI. Yes, sometimes it generates beutiful works. But can you ask for more of exact same works?
No, you can't. You need to know the author who did it, first(in this case we know who did it, but it won't be the case for random ai art), google image search won't help you with finding author of random generated AI picture. And you need to make this author to replicate same work he randomly got god's know when and how.
And he won't be able to. One wrong promt, different settings, changed over time, this guy has no style, no consistency, just some history with playing with black box toy.

AI meant to simplify the process, but it doesn't.
It took me decent amount of time just to sort these 1500 copypaste half generic pictures to pick the best ones.
I can believe it took much more time for operator to create these pictures.
And you can clealy see he actually TRIED to replicate some results, but obivously it went wrong and inconsistent.
So what does it simplify? Nothing. Getting needed result still takes time. Same thig as if you ask some artist to draw something.

It's actually a shame, because sometimes you see stunning picture and you want to say 'yeah gimme more of that!' but you realize that you have noone to ask for it and google search won't help you.

PS tbh the solution to this problem could be if new generations of artists learnt to draw using best AI works as references
