@NerdSweeper I think you hit it on the nose. Racial caricature cartoons usually put a LOT of detail in the stereotyped individual, while displaying 'regular' characters with rather unremarkable features. For the ultra-inclusive POC drawings, artists will try to give them individualistic features, which usually means more detail. There lies the overlap between the two intentions.
