Most of them have translations over on Hypnohub, at least back when I started uploading the raws for this artist (I remember reading the Pokemon and Akari Mirai ones over there years ago), dunno how well they've kept up since then and I have no clue how tight their quality control is (can't be much worse than EH but might still be MTL).

The problem is that it's with this shitty booru notes system which doesn't fucking work for me on mobile. All you need to get those translations ported over is the editing skills to clean and typeset transparent textboxes on full-color CGs without making a fucking mess out of it.

Hypnohub basically does no quality control for notes, only specific kinds of manips. You get the whole range of translation efforts.

That's a shame to hear but about what I would have expected.

The stuff I read there was coherent English at least, even if the translation quality was to be comparable to rewrites (and that's really assuming the worst) that would still make it superior to the deluge of AI translations we've gotten here lately.

In my opinion nowadays with the quality we have of machine translation, the translation part is "easy".

I know a bit of japanese so I'm not completely blind to what the MTL is doing.

Also my method is pasting each panel into ChatGPT, Google Translate, DeepL, Bing Translate and Yandex (this one got really bad lately).

And from all those translations I pick and choose what "sounds" best, whatever I feel that represents better the dialog.

In general ChatGPT is the best one since its smart and remebers whatever came before, the problem is that its a prude and it understands... so some TLs it won't do.

So in my case what I do is use the MTLs as helpers to decide which localisation would be better, because I struggle with that.
