I always felt the series got cowardly and did a major cop out at the end. The MC began the whole story with a major crush on Kotone, and while other women entered the picture, Kotone remained "first among equals" in the plotline. So at the end, when the girls pressed him to pick who would be his choice, it should have been Kotone.
