Good comic, but pretty glacial pace for new panels, and after the non-ending end of Anathema, I'm having very little faith that the main character will finally come into her own. Almost 1100 pages, and she's still barely started, and seems to have little agency. Someone that bad things happen to, and not someone who makes things happen.
That said, if this is his 2nd or 3rd priority after pony porn and pony porn commissions, I can understand.

It wasn’t so long time ago that Joseco actually updated the comic three times a week. There were occasional slowdowns and hiatuses, but for most of the year, one could certainly expect more than eight pages a month.

I forget when the current major slowdown began, but it has been longer than anything I’ve experienced since, uh, 2019? I don’t follow Joseco on Twitter, so I have no idea whether he’s given a reasoning. I’ve just expected that he’s got a job where things have become more hectic, or that real life is taking its toll in some other way.

As much as I like the colored pages, I wish it would go back to ink. the wait between updates due to said coloring really hurts the pacing of the story.

Prediction time! (Because I am bored AF at the office) Let's see how well this post ages. If you haven't read the comic yet, do not read this comment.

Prediction 1: Tenkin from chapter 6 (seen on page 297) may have had the misfortune of falling into one of those "hell holes" and died. The shadow seen on page 391 has her ears, and is also seen again in page 683.

Prediction 2: Gren Stephen (the douchebag from page 302) may defect to Spoils of the Beast to try and kill Kessah later. And may possibly get ran through by Fane Vermillion

Prediction 3: Fane Vermillion might be Kessah's brother or long lost relative, on page 227 she vaguely mentions a 5th family member.

Prediction 4: Ariel is up to something sinister. She is acting way too secretive and I think Fane is trying to expose her and everyone else involved, such as Holindae, as a means to get Kessah to change sides.

Prediction 5: In conjunction to #4 (This one will be a long shot) Ariel knows about the black gates and is working for the fiends inside of it, and has been for many years in exchange for power. The fiend probably foresaw it's demise by the hands of Dianna and Kessah, so Ariel probably set up Dianna to get killed and now it wants Kessah dead too. Ariel may have even sent that assassin in page 58 as well, and the fiend also sending that massive winged demon at the airship Kessah was on in page 137.
