It's here! Man, time flies ever since exo first shared to me this chapter. Personally, I am happy (again, I read this with tags in mind). It took a while, an actual arc and a new antagonist for my ship to happen. Readers expected it to happen (both the haters and the fans), mostly the saving so it still annoyed me it took a lot of chapters to get here. Since I'm sharing my thoughts here already, might as well say I would've preferred sensei milked the Shoma affair scenario (it still feels off for me he actually can pull it off) instead of introducing Ishikawa (which is hilarious finding out on Twitter, Ishikawa actually has a sole JP fan!). I'm much more curious how... Niimi grew up into... this. How can someone who used to be incredibly shy got the guts to send a taken woman a pic of herself and said taken woman's unconscious, naked bf together in a photo (but apparently according to exo's summary, she admitted it was fake and to rile up Yuki)? Was the relationship with Kuruso (only a small panel this chapter but I can tell he's still handsome) that bad that 5, maybe 10 years later, she reconnects with an ex? I mean, I don't blame her given the way they got together and broke up wasn't that bad and even I have to admit adult Shoma's drip is amazing. Not enough for me to be horny but good for him appearance wise. Can't say the same for Coach's facial wrinkles (and apparently admitting this chapter he gained a bit of fat). Smut was good, though honestly, I'm also not a fan of adult Yuki's appearance. The bigger chest size isn't really that attractive for me to begin with. The comfort panels are great though, could be better when the tankoubon updates and reaches this part (so many weird facial shapes and expressions). I'm actually happy to see the chibi faces again as well.

Both Fujiko and Katsura Airi really made the same mistakes in their long-form series in trying to humanize the rapists. Fujiko even took it a step further in trying to make Shoma into a bad guy post-timeskip and it just makes the story worse because both Yuki and Coach are awful human beings and it's almost impossible to feel any sympathy for either of them at this point.

Is it finally over?? Author got a lot of hate for trying make Shouma be the bad guy despite it was the protagonist and the coach the ones in the wrong. It never was going to work but author still tried to force it, he gave up and let Shouma go in peace with a girl who actually does LOVE him. And Yuki can go back to her rapist with no consequences while she feels bad Shouma rejected becoming her cuck for life.

Honestly? I'm happy with how the story went. Yes, the intent is to try to paint Shoma as a bad guy and make Yui a more sympathetic character, but of course nobody actually thinks that's true. Shouma made a horrible, nearly life ruining choice to take her back, and his regret and better judgement caught up with him over the years just before his whore wife's instincts kicked in again. She's just upset he beat her to the punch this time, quite frankly. So in the end, he cast off his childhood mistakes and decided to spend his life with a better woman, leaving the two scumbags in their well deserved company. Although she never really loved him, and the marriage was just a sham to try to convince herself she's not a horrible person, he even got a sliver of payback by superficially hurting her feelings in the process before she goes back to another man.

All in all, about as good of an ending to things as you could hope for at this point.
