I think the flow of the language and stuff is mostly fine, and the English vs. Japanese is certainly an issue to deal with. I know this is a quick project, but I would try to slow down enough to make sure the text doesn't just feel simply slapped into the bubble once then never dealt with again. It makes the bubbles a bit hard and unpleasant to read, and it makes your translation seem worse than it is due to sloppy presentation. I know how time-consuming these projects can be, so I hope you don't take my criticisms as overly harsh.

People in these stories accept things way too easily. I wish in one of these things the person who got their life stolen would actually try and fight back or work out a solution. Most of them just give up and accept it immediately. It's far, far hotter if they struggle as much as possible but lose anyway. Like there's no reason to think the tree wouldn't swap them back the other way except that the mother said so.

I just wonder... how do you raise a daughter for sixteen (?) years without being able to communicate with her? Especially little kids pick up languages so quickly, it almost feels like you really have to try (or the father was weirdly controlling, but that does not seem to be the case).

@Rawru My main issue with them is it usually feels like just killing the person swapped and where's the fun in that. Take boy, turn boy into girl, watch boy try to adapt its interesting. Take boy, Turn boy into girl, kill the boys mind making him instantly female well you've just got a girl and there's no adaption or struggle.

you are right, this is the author team's main theme: some bastards will do horrible things to you (i.e. for this group of authors, you will either be gender-swapped, or swapped with another person), and you will be able to adapt to the situation and even be happy, you and your executioner. The issue with TSF stuff nowadays is that a lot of it basically just seems to be a roundabout way to do the mental corruption and rape stories that the author seemingly actually wants to do. It's basically been the norm in possession stories for the last few years but it's starting to leak into other TSF stuff too now. It's like nobody can just do a quick, fun story. Everything is an arms race to see who can make the most screwed up scenario. And I like the darker stuff too but only every so often or executed well which most of the time it's not.

@Seenkoau I dunno if you were responding to someone else, but I agree with the sentiment. I find the premise interesting, but I feel like the gradation was too quick and with little "fight back" like you said. All my comment was was the technical side of things to make the thing flow better.
