I'm not the one uploading this comic here. This was originally done without my permission, but I later let them continue after they credited my DA and such. I did mention them that this comic might not be the best for this site, since it's not meant to be a porn comic. It's a love story with some dirtiness mixed in.
And for the other people to know, if there wasn't Patreon, there wouldn't be sex scene at all. It would be cencored into PG-13 or cut out all together. But I decided to draw it out as Patreon reward. And it doesn't contain any plot elements or character development so regular readers don't miss a thing.

This isn't pretty woman where that can be just an amusing little side note to ignore it's sort of a fact it's a main plot point she has a lot of sex , it's her "job" can you imagine a "PG-13 version" of any of that? nope. The King not killing the guard is very generous. In this setting, he would reasonably expect to be executed and if the King was a real bastard the child would be killed and perhaps the Queen as well. I don't really have any sympathy for the guard. He should have known better. The likely beating he will receive will be well deserved. The Queen was naive, to say the least. I liked the dream sequence with her mother. It's clear she wants to be more loving than her mother was but now the reality of the situation is crashing down on her. Also while the King does have more love toward his concubine she should have been more aggressive in getting sex from the King more frequently to avoid the awkward math. Looking forward to seeing more in the story.

Boy, I really used to like this comic. It had a cast of interesting characters, remarkable worldbuilding, satisfying drama, and a reasonably gripping plot. I was, at the very least, quite interested. But as the years have gone by, it's slowly but surely degraded. One at a time, action by action, panel by panel, every single character, without fail, has made almost exclusively the worst possible (while still somewhat rational) decision at every possible turn. At first it was an annoyance, not enough to take me out of the story, but it has gone on and on, uninterrupted, for years. Characters I once enjoyed have become so insufferable I simply couldn't continue. Now every time I see this gallery updated, I am just sad, and a little angry. This is a level of narrative self-sabotage I have almost never seen in the webcomic space.
