In Vee's defense, her doing that for that is like cosplaying to her. She's pretending to take that role as that person. If they could have perfectly mimiced the characters like she does them, they would do so I'm sure.

@hermit20 except that within the context of this setting Vee is pretending to be her very real friends. Amity and Luz are cosplaying a fictional character within their world. Who would they need to ask for permission from? Even if you say the author of the Azura series, what they do is no different than fanfiction just like this comic is to us.

Who gets hurt by it though? Ultimately, it is still harmless roleplay fun. Her life would not have been affected in the slightest if she didn't walk in on them, and even then her life will continue on as normal but she now knows of her friends' weird kinks. I think Amity is overreacting. Sure, being emotional in that situation is fair, but if she really thought about it I think she would rescind her request that they ask her before having weird fetish sex.

The only real mistakes here was fucking somewhere they could get caught, and on her for not knocking before entering the room.

Nope, still doesn't make much sense to me. So what? Even if she can make a perfect replica of me, that still isn't me. I'm fine, untouched and unobserved. It is just a really good cosplay, a very convincing illusion, fiction even within their world, and I've never really cared how weird the fiction people enjoy gets as long as no one gets hurt. I, the person they are cosplaying, am unaffected, thus unbothered. I understand that it would bother you, but I honestly don't understand why. I would find it no more violating than learning that someone wrote a weird fanfiction about me. If anything, I might be flattered by it. Still weirded out, but flattered.

If they were making porn with my likeness and spreading it around claiming it was the real me, then it would cross a line that bothers me as it would have tangible affects on my life, but doing it behind closed doors where no one, especially not me, should have ever learned that they were doing it in the first place?

Naw, they can enjoy their roleplay of me all they like, just do it in a more private location next time and lock the door.
