The end to this story according to the kitsune post, when she meets the naga after soul voring the pizza delivery girl ending up with the uncaring talk that had Rika just accepting being killed, and the kitsune congratulating them on the divorce after the fact, while looking at the bulge with the digested remains of Rika as the Naga presents to the kitsune a new victim sickened me to no end.

This naga is a manipulative cunt of the highest degree, this entire garbage story was toxicity of the highest degree that according to the words of Myusca from succubus prison "was done to make the food taste better", As the naga not only will kill Rika's daughter thanks to the happenings of this comic, but Rika herself later.

The mental hoops done to paint this psychopathic cunt in a good way using silly faces and jokes that don't land only make it even more revolting, worst character in all of your stories, she retroactively makes the preds that just kill indiscriminately like the snake headed people, or the kitsune look good in comparison, because at least they are honest about it, instead of forcing someone into a brainwashed stockholm syndrome for years with mental games and toxic manipulativeness, breaking their mind with bullshit vore aphrodisiacal acids, until not only they ask for it, but also give their own kids to her even though Rika fought so much to live and have her daughter keep living.

Also "read something else" is a lazy response to criticism. There's a hole in your story. You can go back and fix it, or you can just be okay with that. But dismissing critique just makes you look like a narcissist.

Melinda isn't manipulative. She just has a super power to force people into being her or others's prey. She is incredibly selfish and narcissitic, and tries to justify it after the fact to make herself look better, but that has been true since book 1, when she stopped Rika from being digested because she didn't want to take care of her children by herself. Just the way she is.

To be honest, Natsu's stories have never been good. The artwork is fucking fantastic, but the less story involved, (or the more concise) often the better it is. Human Harvest Season, Christmas Vorarol, and various short comics like Naruto vore contest... amazing. But the longer serials are always non-sensical and this series is just ugly toxic. Just textbook abusive relationships. It is a bit of a shame because there are hints there that the story might get better, that characters might develop and change but instead they don't.

Natsu is consistent thought, artwise, and creative. You just gotta take the bad with the good.

@zipszip It's both. She has a super power, yes, but she uses it in combination with "you totally want to be a prey, bro" to create a self-fulfilling prophecy. Maybe she THINKS that she can "detect" pred and prey", but that just makes her manipulative AND delusional, which, you're right, is a pretty hallmark characteristic of narcissism.

And yeah, I can definitely agree that Natsu is just straight-up a bad writer. Their characters are one-dimensional, their worldbuilding is flat, and there's just a lot of stuff that they just straight-up don't understand, like what exercise is for, and that no, humans aren't the only animals that do it (from "I Think My Boss Wants to Eat Me").
And I think Melinda's narcissism is definitely a trait of Natsu "Sorry you don't like it, you can drop the comic" memetalsonic.

If you're an artist, and won't take criticism for your art--drawing, writing in this case, or anything else--then you're just going to be bad at it forever.
