Well, if I try to be logical here... I think those Genin delinquents are most definitely getting the boot.
Their gang activities aside, two premeditated attempts of murder and one done with a tactical weapon? They're so done. There's no way Konoha would keep those guys in their military ranks after that.
And I'm pretty sure a dishonorable discharge won't be the only thing they get.
