It's not a dick move. The whole purpose of this site is to archive works in as much of their entirety as possible. Purposefully uploading incomplete versions of complete works in order to advertise one's private Patreon account goes against the spirit of the site. When MeowWithMe does it, everyone rightfully recognizes it as spam.

What about repeatedly disowning galleries only to reupload them functionally unchanged, or trying to get the gallery posted by the artist falsely tagged as "AI generated" so that your bootleg gallery is the one not filtered by a very common tag to filter out. @Willow Tindersmith According to Graphtreon, the artist is already earning $13,000 per month, so they are doing quite fine. Besides, it doesn't tend to work the way you're predicting in practice. There are plenty of examples of creators posting daily updates when first launching their Patreon, then once they reach income of a few thousand per month they settle into a comfortable routine of a couple low quality uploads per month. Melissa N is a perfect example of this phenomenon, and this is all publicly available for you to investigate yourself. Furthermore, this artist clearly recognizes the advertising value offered by E-Hentai, otherwise they wouldn't be here posting.
