I agree. I read the title "Suzumiya Haruhi no Shoushitsu 2011 Calendar", then I looked at the gallery and then immediately started shouting "Why the fuck isn't this Canon!?!?" Disappointed, I took a look at the Working calender and screamed "This isn't fucking Canon either?!?! What the fuck?!?!" I then proceeded to do the exact same thing with every other gallery on e-hentai and I'm thoroughly outraged that they're not all Canon.

Seriously, why would you he raged the that Haruhi calender is not Canon? Why would you expect the Haruhi calender to be anything other than Haruhi?

By "Canon", I believe spierdalacz is referring to the images not representing the orignal Suzumiya Haruhi story/manga.

These images are based on the alternate world created during the 2010 movie: The disappearance of Suzumiya Haruhi.

For about 7 years now, you've been getting almost nothing but canonical Haruhi Suzumiya material. It wouldn't hurt to have a non-canonical material now and then, and I'm betting that this calendar set is showing Haruhi fans a slice of life Haruhi and her friends had in the world of Disappearance of Suzumiya Haruhi because that world existed for us for only two days worth of Kyon's life. Even in doujins, it's still lacking.
