Translation, and typesetting are good, but why are all the images cropped compared to the RAW? Also noticed it got upscaled with waifu2x, or something which makes it look off, and removes details that should be there. Original https://files.catbox.moe/ufkpro.png Upscale https://files.catbox.moe/99758q.png This also bloated the filesize over 2x since it exported it to RGBA when it doesn't need it at all. I suggest keeping the original as unmodified as possible, but if you're working with B&W pages it's fine to convert them into 8 bit greyscale PNGs to shrink it down if the source is already clean. In this case the RAW was already greyscale PNG so you likely didn't have to do anything more besides exporting as is after typesetting. The previous work you did was just fine for example, only thing "wrong" there is that you exported already heavily compressed color JPGs as PNG when you could've just used JPG at a quality which maintains the same filesize, or a higher filesize to ensure image quality retention. Although personally I'm fine with just having everything exported as PNG always unless a page wasn't translated, in which case just leave as is. You can also not bother with converting to greyscale on PNGs, and let programs like OxiPNG, or ECT do the optimizing for you. For example, page 12 on this gallery losslessly compressed down to 5.9 MB from 15.8 MB using these tools on the default settings.
I think they used chinese raws given the resolution and details, which sure weighs more but loses some halftones, the extra resolution doesnt really add any detail and its finally inflated by the 32bit depth The other day i sent a pm to recommend them some programs to remove artifacts and to make some compression but i never got an answer, so whatever...
I haven't seen that PM yet wdym, I actually was waiting on that... Also I used the V1 Raws as base for these ones. It was already done months ago but then they updated which I never got the motivation to redo everything cuz I usually just redraw on a single layer. Not even sure what you guys are talking about as I never change much from the raws... its literally download the raw files, redraw thru CSP + add Typeset, then Export as PNG and its done... All these talk on how I resized, convert, etc is going over me cuz I'm just a solo project guy (who sometimes asks friends for help here and there) who likes to do these mostly for the fun of it and not into all the technical stuff xD
