@cgh I sometimes take commissions for fanart models and create fanart renders and models to study other art styles and characters by making my own version of them in 3D from scratch. This is a common practice among artists in all mediums.
I always give credit and clarify this on other social media platforms. Unfortunately, the platform here on the site doesn’t have a good way to accommodate that.
