I really like this series, I am just hoping that
1. She at least doesn't completely lose her sense of self and identity, I am not a big fan of identity death.
2. Her condition is not too easily transmitable, it would make her and her situation less unique, IMO.

Given assumptions as the dropbox page text updates are delayed, I offer these two things. The bite is not uncommon in mating. It is common enough that some breeders guard both mates from damaging one another, especially a stud injuring its mare. The other, Seeping Ooze is not shy with the fluids of body horror, and those mutated teeth look sharp.
I prefer these anyway.
