Wikipedia does not use female mascots or icons. Most of its most-active editors are also not in favour of such mascots.
Please note that Wikipedia is funded primarily thru private contributions. Use of female "mascots" is something that is typically frowned upon by conservative benefactors, and use of female mascots wearing "servant" type uniforms such as a maid may yet offend more benefactors. In the past, various wikipedia users tried to spread the use of a swimsuit mascot, but that was stopped due to the obvious pitfalls of using a sexually suggestive image for a major public internet presence. While various reasons were invented by swimsuit fans to use such a mascot, can you imagine using the same generic reasons to justify using the same logo for the USA government, the European Union, the Republican Party, or a major corporation such as Nabisco or Public Broadcasting Service?
