Cool headed character with a sexual obsession that resorts to kidnapping and domination? Sounds like a yandere to me.

she just didn't have the look of a yandere. EDIT: i get your point truefire, but when i read doujinshi like tsukasa blog(kirin kakeru),tsukasa valentine dream(kirin kakeru),aishita yamanai shoujo (kirin kakeru), and second wife(inoue kayoshirou), first face looks normal but the second face, i look at that and think "damn that looks like a yandere, real crazy look." this one didn't have that far gone psycho look, but she's still a yandere. are my standards for yanderes different? regardless i like this one.

@Nights002:

The fun thing about yanderes is that they don't have a particular "look" to go by. Tsunderes have predictable traits, personalities, and often appearances or even things they would say ("I-it's not like I like you or anything"). What makes yanderes so appealing is that they're so darn unpredictable and their obsessions/psychoses can manifest in many different ways. She may be cool-headed, but canonically she wasn't denying she liked Shuujin; hell, in her mind accepting him as a rival was the same as them dating, which she said bluntly when it came up. She also became obsessed with beating him at writing manga when he turned her down to continue pursuing his dreams.

There are tons of similar/identical tsunderes but very few memorable ones. To the contrary, almost every yandere is unique and, at worst, very few of them are forgettable.

Edit: Fair enough. But keep in mind that yandere doesn't always manifest itself into kidnapping/torturing/homicidal/blackmailing like with those stories. Kirintei is really good at those particular yanderes, and Inoue Kiyoshiro, who normally doesn't do yanderes in his works, made a compelling one, but summarizing a yandere's behavior based solely on normal face/crazy face doesn't do them much justice for why they're compelling. Not all yanderes are like the ones from Shuffle, School Days, or Higurashi. Truthfully, some of the most compelling yanderes are the most subtle. There's an Oreimo doujin focused on Kuroneko and Kirino getting raped while Manami and Kyousuke are on a date. Manami wanders off and stumbles upon the scene. Instead of helping them (which they're begging her to do), a slight smirk forms on the corner of her lips before she closes the door and pretends she didn't see a thing. She in no way planned for their fate to occur, but that one simple scene blew people's minds, and truth be told, the smirk wasn't really necessary--considering her underdog status, if she had closed the door with no reaction and continued on, people would've still gone "Holy shit!". But what was most fascinating about it is Manami is never canonically depicted as a yandere (she's the honest, plain good girl), but the argument for her action was plausible enough considering how Kirino regards her. After all, even good girls bear their fangs sometimes. I believe the name of it was Kuroneko to Watashi ga Aniki ni Suterareta Hazu ga Nai by Mokusei Zaijuu

Podo, do you KNOW what a yandere is? A girl who is obsessive over a guy to the point of being psychotic, which leads to them lashing out their "love" in sexual and violent manners. She fits it...geez some people. My only question is. Who tagged this "Reverse rape" Rape is rape last time i checked, whether a guy or girl does it.

If the genders were reversed, this would probably be considered netorare.

Look kids, this is not Yandere, because if she were, she would have fucking murdered the guy's wife so they could be together.
@IntarwebzFTW:
It's netorare either way, since NTR is gender-neutral.

This is much better than the previous one, and shouldn't even be called a "continuation", as the characters aren't the same, and neither is the story. THIS ONE NEEDS A SEQUEL! I WANT TO SEE HER BEAR HIS CHILDREN WHILE HE FALLS MADLY IN LOVE WITH HER!
