actually a doujinshi of the light novel "Bakemonogatari" (as in the title). In the novel, The main character is bitten by a vampire and survived and becomes half-vampire. He, then, keeps running into other girls who possessed by animal spirits. There is an anime of it.

also, homunculus already did stories with this, but i think this one somewhat closer to where the story started;

others have the same male character, different settings: those are: Bake Hebi Gatari, Bakemonogatari, Bakenekogatari (search for the tags). So this one here is Bakeonigatari.

I'll make this clear for those who don't seem to understand the ending. The kid at the end is indeed their child. Vampires are immortals so the concept behind this doujinshi is that both Araragi and Shinobu have been together for 150 years and all of the other characters have died already and only they are left.

This doujinshi is based on the premise he remained a vampire and didn't age due to his vow/promise. He never became "fully" human again and out lived his friends and family and shinobu is feeling guilty for dragging him along/etc.

I havn't read Kabukimonogatari yet but shinobu and araragi relationship is focued in that novel and would explain alot as well.

The girl at the end is Shinobu. After the blood wears off, she reverts back to her 5 year old form. She calls Koyomi 'papa' once she starts talking in the later novels because she doesn't have any memory of who she really was, and doesn't retain any memories from when she drinks his blood and temporarily ages.

This guy is easily a better writer than the creator of Bakemonogatari. The latter is all about stupid puns and wordplay, but he stopped short at "I like everything about you..." This guy actually has creditable followups to that. In a fair world, this guy would be writing popular stories, while the Bakemonogatari guy would be scrawling cheap hentai.
