I don't think there has been any official word on Aoi's "thingie" status (to borrow Yoriko's phrase), even as of the most recent season. We know that as of the middle of season two, Aoi still had not received breast implants, so it's unlikely that she had other areas operated on as well at that point in time. I do not recall any specific instance in the most recent season that would lead you in one direction or another, but I'm sure most would agree with you in labeling her as a futa at this point in time.

As the mostly-female cast often admits, she's far more womanly than any of them could hope to become.

The only problem with that screencap is the fact that it IS from one of the specials, where multiple liberties were taken with Aoi's character in that regard. As one example, the ongoing jokes about her being male by exposing her boxer shorts were scrapped, and instead, we have someone climbing into her apartment balcony to steal her silk panties. Even on the requisite beach episode in the third season (http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/842/aoibeach.jpg/), I cannot definitively say whether she has breasts or not. It certainly looks like that's the case in certain angles, but not in others.
