It was drawn by an independent artist, not compromising, not rushing pages under pressure, not giving bullshit. When you read this you feel that specific vibe, typical for experienced artists (usually Touhou artists), who don't even give a damn about attracting fans. They just want to make something that in their opinion is cool and put effort into it, even though they could spend their time in other way, drawing something else and earning more money or popularity.
