Why does this site favor expunging lower resolution copies while at the same time allowing uploaders to resize the entire gallery into lower resolution copies "for browsing" -- this gallery being a case in point. Because the uploader resized the entire set "for browsing" I had to download two entire sets (including a low res copy I don't want) just to get the higher resolution copies. It would be much more rational, pleasant and conserving of "bandwidth" to eliminate the option of resizing "for browsing." Or at least only allow resizing of a couple of images, not the entire gallery.
(Who the hell benefits from resizing "for browsing"? People with phone modems?)
If you really think there are people out there who prefer to look at inferior, compressed copies of artwork "for browsing," then give them that option in a separate "browsing" gallery, but give the rest of us the option of bypassing it.
