Artwork and stories from what would have been a new show from the Serial Experiments Lain team (yoshitoshi ABe, Chiaki Konaka, Ryutaro Nakamura, et al). These were serialized in the magazine Animage over the course of a year. Sadly, development of the show itself has been put on indefinite hold.

NOTE: The materials here have been also collected in a book titled ですぺら（ロマンアルバム）, which is likely better quality than these magazine scans. So far I've been completely unable to find scans of the book online.

This is very helpful. I didn't know about this project, but pictures looks awesome. It's very sad that it will be never seen on screen. Maybe the studio is low on money?
