Most disturbing but, as a sick matter of fact, one of the most amusing galleries in here. I mean guro + comedy...i was like "Whaaaaaat!?!?!" Also you can easily see the amount of effort thats put into this. I have never been into guro that much but this is a exeption. I enjoyed it.

I stumbled across this image set a few years ago, and was only reminded of it a few days ago.

It's really impressive how this has so much character to it. What's done seems very creative to me. I'm not a regular viewer of guro stuff, but based on the things that have cropped up in my viewing, things usually don't involve this much humour and characterization. Rather than just watching a painful thing happen to a drawn person, this series characterizes them, and gives real hints of their personality outside of their desperation. They still have enough of their wits about them to let the audience empathize with what's going on, as opposed to them just being desperate, broken husks of their former selves.

The jokes also provided exactly the right amount of lightheartedness and humour to maintain the impact of what was being done. If things are too dark all the time, then it all blurs together, but if the tone varies like this, then every new turn of events can feel fresh and new.

The breaking of the 4th wall with the actual hands interacting with the papercrafts also adds an interesting unique element to this.

My only disappointment is that I haven't been able to find anything else like this in the last several years.
