Oh wow, the PS1 Ghost in the Shell game. I remember that. Very true to the source material but confusing as hell (you could walk on the walls and ceilings spider-style, with all the nauseating camera shifts you'd expect of a early 3D game.)

Interesting, it's the 15 year old game that's more faithful, character design wise than the movie and the series.

I loved showing people this game. Being able to run up the walls, etc, was just crazy and could really throw folks for a loop.

This game is good on lit detail. very well made.
and the idea is great even today. It's actually amazing how they make the spinning less confusing. some game at that time, even makes you intolerable when walking.

Thanks, I didn't even know this artbook existed. I tried emulating this game on my computer but never got the controls to work well. Maybe it needs a game pad.

WOW. Nice find. Remembered playing it on my PSone ages ago. Hope someone make a new GITS for PS3/4 with a 3rd person view(looking at Kusanagi Makoto back while running/walking/shooting/dodging or even in the tachikoma gonna rock) and action, shooting with mystery/crime solving parts with heavy rain kind of thing then it'd be awesome. (Realize afterwards there was a PS2 one...Nevertheless, hoping somewhere along the days someone would do a game like that for PS3/4)
