ok, after about 3 seconds worth of research, i have established that the blue bird character is NOT articuno, for these reasons: 1. There is only One Articuno, thus it's legendary status. 2. Articuno has a light blue, almost white, tuft of plumage on it's chest, this character has a plumage collar. and 3. no other "pokemon" show up in this comic, allowing me to make these statments in full confidence. so you can now untag this as pokemon, you are welcome
