I do think you should know, though, that you're really hurting this community by not releasing them. E-Hentai has become a very comprehensive library of doujinshi released since it's been active, and it will still be around when many of the works uploaded here go out of print. However, the works you scan and could add to this library will only be available in altered form due to translation, and nobody will have access to the originals anymore.

Perhaps you could consider adding the raws after a certain period of time has passed, to minimize any impact on the authors?

I'm sorry EvaOtaku07 we do not release raws at this current point of time. I'm not some huge super evil scanlation group trying to keep stuff from peasants. I just don't want involved with any raw distribution due to any potential implications it may have. I've already had enough run-ins and takedown notices targeted at my download hosts.

But more importantly the only way I have to support the artists is by not releasing raws that could hurt their domestic sales. I know it may sound hypocritical to you, but this is how I/us a very small group of people doing this feels. It's one thing to ask for a raw and I'll usually provide one to a foreign translation group. But you have asked on multiple galleries, on our blog multiple times and in your latest tirade calling us "cunts and to "fucking release raws" after being told we do not do that right now. I can understand some people wanting to see the raw, but harassing me over it is not the way to go.

I know it requires some good faith that our translations are accurate and done well. But we have done this for well over a year now and translating these is not just a hobby, but a passion of ours. A lot of our time and money goes into this and we will do our best to find all the doujins people want us to do. But even so, we don't exist to serve you. We aren't going to do something because someone demands that we do, we do what we do because we enjoy it and want to.

I don't want to keep exchanging e-hentai comments about it, upvoting and downvoting other ones, that's just childish. I hope this helps.
