When I saw previews, it was just of the ballbusting bits. I (jokingly) complained to the artist that I liked her balls and that he should be nice to them and her. He laughed and told me she was a masochist, so she's smiling on the inside.
EDIT: erootoko is right on all points. Through his BBS and e-mail. He doesn't know English and my Japanese is extremely terrible, but communication happens. Although he is flattered when translations are done, his feelings are rather mixed about piracy in general. He loves the fact that more people can read his work (I think he prints somewhere around 1200 give or take a few hundred copies) all over the world, but laments it at the same time the feeling of 'why buy it if you can just wait for the scan?'

I'm guessing Randomguy has corresponded with him via Kurenai Yuuji's blog or some such. Kurenai Yuuji seems like a cool dude who values and enjoys peoples' comments and responds to them in kind. Incidentally, he's also the unusual sort of mangaka who is aware of foreigners doing fan translations of his work and is sincerely flattered by it. It's quite heartwarming.
