Here's a bit of Upotte trivia:

"Upotte" is the Japanese word for "gun" (teppou) pronounced backwards (te-ppo-u = u-po-tte).

"Rufuira" is "rifle" in Japanese-converted English pronounced backwards (ra-i-fu-ru = ru-fu-i-ra).

And yes, G3 is my favorite among the gun girls.

The typesetter didn't include my note/furigana necessary to understand the joke. It's basically:
'Rifle' in Chinese is 步槍/ bu quiang, or pu-chan using the Japanese reading.

So: People shit-talk about Winnie-the-Pooh, Tei think that they mean her, since it sounds similar to part of her name
(Puu is my error, since he's 'Pu/Puuh der Bär' in German, and I was too lazy to check)
