This is based on the Yotsuba prototype called Try!Try!Try! which I think Azuma did before or during Azumanga Daioh. Fuuka's design here is based on how she looked in that.
While I enjoy Karsea's art, and I appreciate the rare treat of something with Fuuka's old look, I think the doujin's a bit short and the image quality's quite poor.
